Additional information
From the postwar period, Danish architect Bodil Kjær opened up her home to a fresh new camaraderie encouraged by versatile furniture that translated the new domestic routines and a renewed need for comfort into tangible designs. Dissatisfied with the fragile, wobbly side tables popular at the time, Bodil Kjær’s pragmatic approach led her to design the set of three stackable, solid wood tables in 1963. With their nested concept and slender yet strong structure, Nest of Tables is an elegant and practical trio that meets the needs of flexible spaces. The table tops are available in many materials and colors, from tempered glass to saddle-hide paired with laminated metal, making the set a perfect match in any surroundings.
