Timb is the fundamental essence of a chair whose clean and humble design emerges from its function. The name Timb is an expression of the chair’s simple vision for the value of its material.
The Timb chair has a simple wooden structure with a richness of detail in the contrast between its curves and sharp lines. Its artisan traditions are also visible in its elegant dowel joints, which make it possible to manufacture the chair without the need for screws, allowing the wood itself to act as focal point. The chair comprises a frame of solid ash and a wide, comfortable seat and backrest made from ash veneer.

The designers Andreas Lund and Jacob Rudbeck have taken their starting point for the design in the iconic shape of a bell. The lamp's rounded silhouette and matt surface give it the impression of having been cast. The white inner side reflects the light, which falls like a cone and provides practical lighting for several purposes.The designers have payed special attention to the details, emphasizing the gathering point between the cord and the lamp itself in a contemporary way. The tactile differences between the materials create a clean, minimalistic look. The smooth aluminum against the soft rubber creates a discrete but impactful play of materials, giving life to the design.
